1. Introduction

Welcome to iHelp.ie. This document governs the use of iHelp.ie and its network of local websites, including but not limited to: ballaghaderreen.ie, ballintober.ie, ballyhaunis.ie, ballymoe.ie, castleplunket.ie, glenamaddy.ie, lisacul.ie, lissalway.ie, loughglinn.ie, strokestown.ie, trien.ie, and tulsk.ie.

iHelp.ie acts as a centralized platform for business listings and blogging. By submitting information to us for publication on any of these sites, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy.

2. Service Model

Unlike automated platforms, iHelp.ie operates as a Managed Listing Service.

  • Submission: Users do not create accounts or post content directly. All information (text, images, contact details) must be submitted to iHelp.ie via email or approved communication channels.
  • Publication: iHelp.ie (the administrator) will review and publish the content on the relevant website(s) on behalf of the user.
  • Review: While we perform the manual act of posting, the user remains 100% responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information provided.

3. Legal Status

iHelp.ie is operated by Dragos Loghin, a sole trader based in Ireland. Users acknowledge they are contracting with a sole proprietor. All income is declared in accordance with Irish Revenue requirements.

4. Payments and Fees

  • Payment Methods: For paid packages, payments are accepted via Revolut or other manually approved methods.
  • Free Services: iHelp.ie offers specific free listing packages for local businesses and creators at our discretion.
  • Refund Policy: Because the service involves manual labor (formatting and posting your content), once a listing has been published on the website, the fee is considered fully earned and is non-refundable.
  • Handling Fees: Any third-party transaction fees are strictly non-refundable.

5. Content Ownership and User Responsibility

  • License: By emailing or sending content (photos, text, logos) to iHelp.ie, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to host, display, and modify that content to fit the website format.
  • Guarantees: You guarantee that you own the copyright to any images or text you send us. iHelp.ie is not liable for copyright infringements caused by user-provided material.
  • Accuracy: You must review your listing once it is live. Any errors must be reported immediately to contact@ihelp.ie for correction.

6. Prohibited Content and Listings

iHelp.ie maintains strict standards. We will refuse to post, or will remove without refund, any content involving:

  • Animals and Livestock: The sale or rehoming of pets, livestock, or wildlife is strictly prohibited.
  • Illegal Goods: Firearms, drugs, counterfeit goods, or stolen property.
  • Adult Content: Explicit, sexual, or highly offensive material.
  • Regulated Services: Unlicensed financial, legal, or medical services.
  • Scams: Any "get rich quick" schemes or deceptive business practices.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • "As Is" Basis: The websites are provided "as is." iHelp.ie does not guarantee that your listing will generate business or that the website will be online 100% of the time.
  • Manual Errors: While we take care in posting your info, iHelp.ie is not liable for typographical errors or omissions made during the manual posting process.
  • No Endorsement: Publication of a business listing does not constitute an endorsement by iHelp.ie. We are not responsible for transactions that occur between you and your customers.

8. Termination and Removal

iHelp.ie reserves the right to:

  1. Refuse to post any content that violates our standards.
  2. Remove any listing if a payment is charged back or if the user is found to be acting dishonestly.
  3. Modify the structure or domain of the websites at any time.

9. Third-Party Advertising

iHelp.ie may display advertisements from third-party networks, such as Google Ads. We do not control the content of these advertisements or the external websites they link to. Any interaction with an advertisement is solely between you and the advertiser. iHelp.ie is not responsible for any products, services, or content offered by third-party advertisers.

10. Privacy and Data

By sending your business details for publication, you acknowledge that this data (phone numbers, addresses, emails) will be publicly visible on the internet. You consent to iHelp.ie storing your contact info for the purpose of managing your listing.

11. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
